Ok - I lied - we were up for two hours - down again. The persons responsible for sacking the person responsible have been sacked.

I can not even begin to express our frustrations. We are all losing money by the wheelbarrow load. We are now moving into hour Thirty Three!!, still with nothing tangible except that ‘they are working on it’.

It is a DDOS attack. These things happen all the time, thank you to the many people who have offered us help in solving this problem, which is usually a minor annoyance, dealt with in an hour or three. Unfortunately, we are not in control of our fate in this situation. We have people we pay to handle such things for us. We pay them handsomely and they brag about their ability to scale and handle any situation. Anyway, we’ll save that rant for another day.

Direct Track is our third party Application Service Provider. They are the de facto standard in affiliate tracking software and are the professionals in this situation. All we can do is sit back and lets the ‘pros’ do their job. Well that isn’t ALL we can do… We are also calling anyone and everyone who will listen and ripping them a new one.

Hopefully the situation will be resolved soon. In the meantime, keep swearing and screaming at us. It seems to help.
