Apple unveiled the new iPods today as well as dropping iPhone prices to only $399. What does this mean for affiliate marketers? It means the will soon be a whole schwack of new users to target with our promotions. Getting the word out will no longer be tied to people at a desk in front of a screen. The new wi-fi iPod touches come equipped with a built in safari browser and a 3.5″ touch screens. FINALLY surfing the web on a mobile device is able to replicate a desktop experience, this is HUGE news. Now they can fill out our payday leads from their mobile device easily and quickly. Create and check their dating profile with a device that every one under 25 seems to always have in their pocket.

Accessing the web just got easier for everyone. Easier access to the web equals more eyeballs finding our ads which equals ka-ching! Especially since a majority of Millnic Media’s offers target a younger demographic. Thank you Apple!

Dropping the iPhone to only $399 for the 8GB version is also huge news when combined with the fact that it has officially been hacked and should be available unlocked through resellers within a month or so.

BTW - I recently bought one of the new iMacs that came out a few weeks ago. In case you are wondering… Yes Vista is the buggiest OS ever. But no. No the Mac isn’t much better. This thing chokes and crashes just as much as my PC did. It is just a little bit prettier while it does it. Stick with XP.
